A largely volunteer-run organization, the Humane Society of North Central Arkansas has worked to protect animals against cruelty and neglect in Mountain Home, nestled in the Ozark Mountains, since 1976. A “no kill shelter,” the Humane Society of North Central Arkansas sponsors pet adoptions, offers vaccinations, spay and neutering services, and dog obedience classes, and trains all staff in animal emergency to aid displaced animals in the event of a disaster. Your charitable donations of clothing, electronics, computer equipment, sporting goods and other items will contribute to the continued successful operation of the animal shelter and the wealth of programs and services offered by the Humane Society of North Central Arkansas.
The Humane Society of North Central Arkansas accepts donations of all kinds – clothing donations, electronics donations, household and computer equipment donations, sporting goods and exercise equipment, and much more. Donations should be tax-deductible (consult your CPA though!) and the charity is responsible for giving you a tax deduction receipt when your Humane Society donations are picked up.
