AMVETS is one of the largest veteran charities in the United States. Since 1946, the Amvets charity has raised funds for the welfare and rehabilitation work related to veterans. One of the primary ways that they raise funds for their veteran programs is through the Amvets donation pick up programs. Amvets has 30 posts in the state of Indiana, but the Amvets Household Discard Program for the State of Indiana is headquartered in Indianapolis, IN.
